We got to their restaurant on Hedong Road after trying to find another restaurant that hadn’t yet opened. We thought it looked good enough from the outside, but weren’t so impressed by the fish tank smell when we got in, but we were inside already so, we decided to give it a go. In theme with our outdoor restaurant idea for this month, we thought it would be good to eat on their only table located on their roof which wasn’t the greatest spot to choose, but again we were in there, so we decided to let the food speak for itself. And was the food good.
We got their Braised Pork with Eggs and it was the best we had all month. We seemed to order that dish at most of the places we went to this month and this was the best we had by far. Though a bit oily, we also devoured their Mixed Vegetable and Pork Sandwiches, followed by their Glass Noodle Chicken Soup, Deep Fried Crispy Tofu, and Farm Style Vegetable Stir Fry, which were all exceptional. Now we must warn you that this place isn’t the newest on the block, and the aforementioned fish tank smell isn’t the best welcome, but the food is good and we only paid 178RMB for the four of us including a couple of boxes of apple juice. And now that we’ve translated their menu, nobody can be left pointing at other people’s tables.
