That’s the way it happened with Jennifer, the owner of Full Magic Spa. She has worked for years in the beauty industry, spending the last three years traveling around the country giving classes in the art of makeovers, facials, waxing, etc. But her true love is massage. She’s traveled to spas around the world receiving massages and taking mental notes for when she opened up her own such place. Now it’s finally come to fruition.
Jennifer has spent months working with her manager, Ling, to create an extensive menu of facials, body treatments, therapies and beauty treatments. They’ve got a long list of facials to choose from. Need a waxing? They can remove hair from anywhere. But their specialty is massage. Try the Full Magic Four Hands, a massage by two masseurs or masseuses that is completely synchronized so that you only feel one set of hands. You can even indulge yourself with three sets of hands. They have twelve therapists on staff that are the best that Jennifer could lure away from spas in Shanghai.
The duo has not only put a lot of thought into the product; the spa itself is designed to soothe. You’re greeted at the door by pleasant girls dressed in Thai garb and led into the plush lounge area where you can have a drink while waiting for your treatment. There are two VIP and twelve private rooms. We suggest going for the Full Magic Hydrotherapy Underwater Bath in the VIP room. There’s a stereo, flat screen TV, mirrored ceiling, and women feeding you fruit while you soak in a bubble bath surrounded by dozens of candles.
A little warning here: If you’re not a fan of roses, maybe this isn’t your kind of place. They are everywhere. Petals in the bath, petals decorating the floor, petals floating in the fountain downstairs, and the scent wafts throughout the entire building. Speaking of scents, all of the products here are Aiyapura and created by Jennifer herself. This is just the beginning for Full Magic Oil Spa. Plans are to open up another location here and then to expand all over the country. Treat yourself to a little of that voodoo that they do so well.
