When we think of a good café, we think of a temperate and comfy place with lightning fast wireless that smells like freshly ground beans, and this is exactly what we got when we walked into 35mm Café. The air-conditioner was turned up to just the right heat, the love seats were well-worn, and the espresso maker was going non-stop powering up the computer users who filled up the second floor. What surprised us was that the place has been open for over two years, and we’d never noticed it. Maybe that’s because there’s a wine shop next door which drew our attention away. No matter, starting at 24RMB for a single espresso, the menu has a nicely hand-drawn display of their offerings. Though no food was available the day that we went, they do have a few things on the menu.
