* Danny Woody
An accomplished written composer, drummer and vocalist, Danny Woody was a Hollywood Studio musician for years. Inspired by his father, who is a saxophonist and composer, Mr. Woody has appeared in concerts with Janis Joplin, The Doors, Steve Martin and John Hartfort, among other jazz luminaries. He has also performed and recorded with the East West Band, L.A. Jazz All Stars Band, Joe Pass and the Father And Son Big Band.
* Anna Jacyszyn
Anna’s first gig was in front of British and Saudi Royalty, leading to more invitations to sing. Glamorous venues and Martinis were more of a trademark than a statement with Anna.
Anna has spent previous years honing her talent in may of London's best clubs. Residences in Mezzo, Sartoria, The Bluebird - King's Rd, Cafe de Paris and Hugo's in Queen's Park have matured her voice beyond even her own expectations. She Bowled them over at the BAFTA after show party, the 'Hello' magazine Birthday Party, 'It Girl' Santa Palmer-Tomkinson's engagement party, the launch parties for both Mercedes and BMW and when opening the 'Blue Marlin' at the Muscat Yacht Club, in the presence of Oman's Royal Family.
* Kong Hongwei (Gold Buddha)
Kong Hongwei is one of China’s most accomplished jazz pianists, having performed all around the world, as is a legend in the music field. He leads this trio playing more easy listening, pop-infused jazz numbers.
* Liu Yuan
He is recognized as one of the two most prominent jazz musicians in China. Liu became enamored of this form of music, and, in particular, the saxophone. In 1984 he was able to purchase a saxophone and, over time, gradually acquired skill playing jazz. Jazz recordings were scarce, and at first he had only a single tape, by Grover Washington, Jr., to study. In May 1999 Liu became the manager of a jazz club called CD Cafe (or CD Jazz Cafe) in his home city of Beijing, where he performs regularly with his Liu Yuan Jazz Quartet. He began performing at the Cafe in the mid-1990s, when public performances by Cui Jian's group were effectively banned. Weekend jam sessions by the quartet frequently ran until 3 a.m. or later. His quartet included a talented jazz drummer from Japan, who was an alumnus of the Berklee School of Music.
* Wu Na
Wu Na began to learn guqin at nine. She graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in 2004 being conferred the master’s degree of quqin, and joined the Central Ensemble of the Folk Music as a guqin player. In 2002, she won the champion in the young professional group of The National Youngsters’ Game of Art – Solo Game of Chinese Traditional Instruments sponsored by the Ministry of Art. In 2004 to 2007, she was invited by Cuijian and Dou wei, the Chinese rockstars, to be the guqin player with the way of the improvisation to participate in their solo concert and publications etc. In 2005, became the host of “silkcottonhouse”, which is a traditional culture and arts studio of Chinese.
