Drums Dré A. Hočevar Dré A. Hočevar (b. 1987, Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a composer, performer, and cross-disciplinary artist frequently performing across the United States, Asia, and Europe. He is Clean Feed Records recording artist with his fifth album Surface of Inscription released in September 2017. As a performer, he is currently a member of Nate Wooley’s Knknighgh Quartet, Zack Clarke's Trio and is directing ensembles Coding of Evidentiality, Collective Effervescence and Transcendental Within the Sphere of Indivisible Remainder. Hočevar’s teachers include Steve Lehman, Peter Ablinger, Joe Morris, Michael Carvin, and Johannes Kreidler. Dré Hočevar lives in Berlin, and is currently preparing for Ph.D. studies at the Centre for Research in New Music (CeReNeM) Institute, University of Huddersfield, UK.

Bass Lester St. Louis Lester St. Louis (b. 1993, Queens, New York City) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and curator. Lester has worked in, performed and created in artistic environments in The United States, Canada, South America, Europe and China with groups and artists such as Dré Hočevar Trio, Jaimie Branch Fly or Die, Ensemble Adapter, TAK Ensemble and many more. As a composer, Lester has been commissioned by artists such as the JACK Quartet, Mahan Esfahani and Stefan Jackiw, RAGE THORMBONES, Lauren Cauley and others. In the near future Lester will be continuing to develop groups such as MADD (with Dré Hočevar and Leafar) as well as TRANSFER (with Jordan Balaber, Daniel Brew and Rocío Bolaños) along with many new ventures.
Piano Theo Walentiny Theo Walentiny (b.1996, Livingston, New Jersey) is a jazz and contemporary improvised music pianist, composer and arranger. Born and raised in New Jersey, he moved to New York in 2014 to pursue music studies at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in Manhattan. A versatile yet individual musician, his influences span many different genres and schools of music. Compositionally inspired by the lush harmonic worlds of Henri Dutilleux and Olivier Messiaen, Theo also draws upon his interest in artists such as Chick Corea and Paul Bley. He has performed with a diverse group of musicians of the highest level including professionals such as Christian McBride, Dianne Reeves, Okkyung Lee. Theo is an alumnus of the Banff Jazz Workshop and has performed extensively both nationally/internationally at The Blue Note (NYC), The Jazz Gallery (NYC), The Jazz Standard (NYC), The Bern Jazz Festival, The Montreux Jazz Festival and The Tri-C Jazz Festival among many others.

Vocal / Sax Pia Podgornik Pia Podgornik (b.1993, Klagenfurt, Austria); Slovenian saxophonist, vocalist, performer and improviser lives in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), after graduating from Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2017. She is a performing and recording artist active on the creative music scene all through Europe. Pia leads several ensembles such as quartet LORE, duo PODGORNIK/D.KUMMER and cross-disciplinary project Woman Orange and plays in ensembles Verso Doxa, Container Doxa and precept.concept.percept. She is actively involved in the Dutch and Slovenian improvised music scene and has performed in Europe, Africa and Asia both as a leader and a side-woman in numerous musical, theatrical and interdisciplinary ventures.
